Free Visual Aids for Learning

I’m a member of a wonderful group of child care professionals who call themselves the Braggers. They are basically a network of people who network via e-mails. One of the wonderful women mentioned a website which had Free Visual Aids that you could use in either your home or learning environment.  If you want to set out your child’s daily routine in pictures so that they can understand what sequence of events they need to follow in the morning, then all you have to do is download the pictures, laminate them and display them somewhere that your child can see them. If you are caring for a child who is having communication problems you could, for example, say “no hitting” and then back it up by using a visual. You might find that this may assist their receptive language.
